MISSION CONTINUES

For Dav, the day began in the usual way, wake up, get dressed, get breakfast, and download the latest updates from Survey Command. As he made his way through breakfast, (Eggs, Toast, Bacon, Coffee) he scrolled over the latest reports from the K-platforms he and Hal had deployed over the previous day, and the FTL relay's buffer for any new messages. A few minutes into the reports, he heard the characteristic throat clearing sound Hal used when coming out of sleep mode and wishing to communicate.

As Shauna and Sylvie made their way to the main hanger bay, they went over the checklist for the Tumbler, which would be fitted with a special long-range booster, in order to fly it and them out to the last coordinates of the missing drone.

"Have we got enough supplies?" Sylvie inquired, as she checked off munitions on her electronic work board.

"Got sandwiches and drinks right here." Kat called, coming up between them.

"So ladies, ready to find our little lost robot?" she asked.

Thanks! I was extremely pleased that the artist I asked to draw this really brought it to life. The idea had been going through various evolutions for over a year before I finally decided to ask someone to "make it real".
